There’s nothing worse than having to rummage around in a filthy bag for loose tools while doing repairs. Not only does it waste a ton of time, it’s also incredibly frustrating.
Tool rolls are a sensible way to keep tools secure and easy to identify at a glance. They also keep all of those metal object from rattling around. The Ketzal Bags tool roll-up is a bit different from the multitude of roll-ups I currently keep at hand. Namely, it’s constructed almost entirely of leather.
Leather is a very durable material with excellent wear characteristics, forming a an attractive patina over time. Scuffs, scrapes and scars tell the stories of each breakdown or trail repair.
The Ketzal Tool Roll-Up comes with eleven tool slots and a zipper pouch. A piece of denim canvas folds over the open end to keep gear in place while being transported. The pouch uses a strong YKK zipper and all seams are double stitched for added durability.

I found that the tool slots could accommodate more than one tool each. I was able to stack a few full sized wrenches into each slot, and a pair of large Ironclad gloves into the zipper pouch. The whole thing rolled up with several belt loop holes left to secure everything. I paired down the wrenches and added a number of items that I use on a fairly regular basis -including a full size hammer.
The Ketzal Tool Roll-Up is absolutely cavernous! Below are a few pics of what I kept in mine during my field testing.
